Estell Warren teamed up with a major housing developer and architectural practice to create proposals for a distinct and characterful new living environment. The substantial new housing area will comprise around 700 units, including flats, terraces and detached properties.
A hierarchy of street typologies and open spaces create a coherent theme across the site whilst also establishing distinct identities within the area. Homezone design principles will give priority to the pedestrian and provide safe streets to walk through or play in. A key aim of the scheme is to establish varied pedestrian routes throughout the development with links to a variety of new open spaces. The fringes of the development will provide links to neighbouring countryside and local communities.
